Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho

I see no point in giving a lesser belt to Jericho. Actually, I really don't see much of a point in Mysterio holding it either... This could go either way but right now I'm leaning towards Rey retaining.

Rey will retain so Jericho can go after Jeff or Edge.

mysterio should hold on to the belt for the moment

please

I think Rey Mysterio will keep the title and beat Jericho.

I'm changing my prediction. Right now, I don't think Jericho is in the Smackdown title hunt. Rey isn't either but I think he benefits less from having the title than Jericho would. Plus he could go on and boast about being a 9-time intercontinental champion. Although I don't like the bouncing between midcard and main event titles, it is what it is.

He deserves to be Intercontinental Champion.

I don't see Jericho losing this feud.

cause mysterio has held the title for a long time

Jericho gets da

They are mentioning jericho to take the title from mysterio as jericho wants a long term fued with rey, so i think jericho takes the intercontinental championship.

I see Y2J feuding with Edge in the future, but none the less, this has Match of the Night written all over it.

i agree with the tocc

Rey Mysterio needs to look like a good wrestler for once. Chris Jericho was pushing for this feud, I don't think he'll be that full of it to take the title. But you never know. Either way this should be on of the matches of the night.

Jericho is going to be heading back into the WWE title picture somehow.

This could go either way. Both of these guys have hit main event status and have held world titles, so I really don't see why they are fighting over the IC title. I will just go with Jericho.

I don't see much point in this fued.

I think this match only came about as a result of the Jericho-Mysterio confrontation on Smackdown last week (which was a good show) and after interfering in the Jericho v Hardy main event. Mysterio should retain, Jericho belongs in the main event scene period.

Rey should retain for a short while atleast.

619 hit

Why is Jericho going for the IC title? This is like when Benoit held the World title for a few months then went back to the US title. This is stupid. Especially since Jericho is yelling at the people more and I believe he has more heat on him than Edge from the crowd so...

I can see Rey winning this one

he seems to have more momentum

going on a limb

Why are two former World Champions fueding over the Intercontinental Title?
