Privacy Policy

Updated October 31, 2026

WrestlingOracle.com takes the privacy of its visitors and members seriously. This page explains what the site stores, and why.

Browsing

Anyone can read the events, prophecies, rankings and news without an account. While you browse without logging in, the site sets no cookies and keeps nothing about you beyond the log files below.

Your account

To make prophecies you need an account. We keep:

  • Your Login ID, which is private: it’s only for logging in.
  • Your Display Name, which everyone sees on your prophecies and in the rankings.
  • Your e-mail address, which is never shown to anyone. It’s used to activate your account, to help you back in if you forget your password, to confirm a change of address, and for the match e-mails if you ask for them.
  • Your password, stored only in scrambled (hashed) form. Nobody, us included, can read it.
  • What you post: your picks, locks, prophecies and bio are public. Your Inner Circle and Watch List are yours alone; other Oracles see only how many Inner Circles they’re in.

An account that is never activated is deleted after 30 days.

Logging in and cookies

Each time you log in we record the time and the IP address you logged in from. We keep them for two years to protect accounts and to spot abuse, such as one person running several accounts.

While you’re logged in, the site sets one cookie, which keeps you logged in as you go from page to page. If you tick “Keep me logged in”, a second cookie keeps you logged in on that device until you log out. Logging out removes them. The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

E-mail

We send e-mail only when you need it: the link that activates your account, help logging in, and a link to confirm a new e-mail address. If you turn on match e-mails in Account Settings, we also send the card when new matches are posted; each one has a link that turns them off. We don’t send newsletters or advertising, and we never give your address to anyone.

Contacting us

When you send a message from the contact page, we keep what you wrote, your name and e-mail address (or your account, if you’re logged in) and the IP address it came from, and e-mail it to the site’s owner so we can answer you. For a bug report we also keep the browser and system you were using.

Log files

Like most websites, our servers keep logs of requests: IP address, browser type, the pages visited and when. They are used to keep the site running and to stop abuse, and are not linked to your account.

Cloudflare

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from bots and attacks, and may set its own security cookies to do so. When you sign up, ask for help logging in or send us a message, Cloudflare Turnstile checks in the background that you’re a person. To tell people from bots it reads technical signals such as your IP address and browser type; Cloudflare says it uses them only to detect bots and to improve Turnstile, not to identify you. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

News

The News page lists headlines from other wrestling sites as plain text. Nothing is loaded from those sites until you follow a link, and then their own privacy policies apply.

Advertising and analytics

The site shows no ads and uses no analytics service. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.

Information sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or share any of your personal information with any third party, except if required to by a court order.

Your choices

You can change your e-mail address, password, bio and match e-mails in Account Settings at any time. To have your account deleted, contact us.

Confidentiality and security

WrestlingOracle.com goes to great lengths to keep personal data from being viewed or used by anyone who does not need access to it. If you feel your account has been compromised, change your password and contact us immediately.

Privacy policy changes

This policy may change as the site changes; the date at the top shows when it last did. If we feel that members will be directly affected by a change, we will make our best effort to let them know.
