Chris Benoit vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield

Obviously Benoit is the better of the two wrestlers here, but it doesn't really matter which one of these guys is holding this lesser belt. I think former heavyweight champions only hold it to tide them over and shut them up in the behind-the-scenes meetings. Since I've got too many faces winning other matches I'll go with JBL. Plus it seems like he's been getting a ton of TV time and Benoit has been largely ignored.

WTF is Benoit doing with the U.S title his a f*#&%@! world title contender. JBL better win this.

I'm going to change to JBL because he seems to be getting way more TV time than Benoit, even though Benoit is ten times the wrestler of JBL.

I think that the WWE will let JBL go home with the title. Maybe this will put him a little closer back to the top. But, I won't be surprised or dissapointed if he loses.

He deserves to be U.S. Champion since he hasn't won anything for awhile.

I can't believe this, but i'm picking all of the titles to change hands at Wrestlemania. JBL has just been too good this past month to not give him the title. I'm betting Benoit wins it back sometime against JBL, and Benoit is too good for this title anyways. I say JBL gets a super cheap win here. I'm guessing this is the show opener.

Still not betting for the other guy!!! JBL will win on the grandest stage of them all,and will pick up the U.S title. Heading into Judgement Day,JBL will start to become the #1 contender for The Great American Bash,where he will be involved in the World Title match. Someone will get involved at the end,but JBL picks up another solid PPV win

Jbl will win at Mania i think, because he hasn't had a title for a while, but personally i would love to see Benoit and Regal fight for the title, but i'm going for Jbl

Tough to pick here. It could go either way, but I'm going to say JBL here, because I think he's earned the US title more than Benoit.

This is another tough one. In reality, Chris Benoit is one of the best wrestlers ever and should not lose that title anytime soon, however I see JBL taking the US title here, slowly moving him back into the World title picture.

I am happy and mad about this situation. JBL should get a world title shot not a us title shot. But it is a title shot non the less. WWE is going to start to build JBL up for a world title shot at Great American Bash.

jbl hasn't won a massive ppv match in months **lashley was due 2 finlay** i don't know if wwe will give jbl a us title reign but this could be jbl's wrestlemania as he lost in the worse wwe title match of all time last year against cena at this very ppv

i dont like bradshaw that much but, i gotta say, the unitted states championship might look good with jbl.

JBL will be disapointed either way if he wins ow Big deal United States champion which means he is now a has been like Benoit, Jericho, Booker T. but if he loses he will LOSE TO BENOIT

I dont care... both men are too good for this belt anyway. JBL hasnt held this belt before, so it would be a nice touch to his resume, like Flair winning the intercontinental championship.

Jillianb will cost chris the match but this match should be ***
